Summary
This
degree is ideal if you’re thinking of starting your own business or leading new business activities in existing companies. In a global economy, the ability to discover and develop new and innovative
opportunities is something employers value.
Entrepreneurship is the act of being an entrepreneur, which can be defined as "one who undertakes innovations and business acumen in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods". This may
mean creating a new company or might mean revitalising a mature organisation in response to a perceived opportunity.
The course will give you a strong grounding in managing organisations, operations and people. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a real business plan with practical advice from successful
entrepreneurs.
Content
In your first year you will
gain a broad understanding of business covering a range of areas including marketing, accounting, how technology is used in the creative industries, the principles of economics and how all these
functions and more work together.
Your second year will allow you
